The deadline for applications for the Montenegrin auction for market premium for solar power plants expires on 10 November 2025 at 13:00. The public call and tender documentation for participation in this auction were published on 11 July 2025.
The market premium is awarded through a Contract for Difference (CfD).
The total quota for this auction amounts to 250 MW, with a possible increase of up to 20% (50 MW), while the maximum bid price is set at EUR 65 per MWh.
To be eligible, solar plants must have, among others, a minimum capacity of 400 kW, while no upper limit (other than the total quota of 250 MW), and no geographical restrictions apply.
