On 29 October 2025, Karanović & Partners hosted the Serbian Games Association (SGA), holding a workshop titled “XP for IP: Upgrade Your Knowledge of Copyright”. The event provided game studios, developers and creative professionals with hands-on insight into how intellectual property (IP) rights and data protection intersect in the modern gaming industry.
The workshop covered practical aspects of protecting games, brands, and player data, clarifying ownership and contracts, managing AI and third-party risks, ensuring GDPR compliance, and meeting investor expectations.
Our Senior Associates, Nikola Kliska and Vladimir Jovanović, led the workshop, sharing insights from their extensive experience in IP, data protection, and IT law. The session drew strong interest and an engaging discussion.
