Karanović & Partners is pleased to announce a new round of promotions, as part of its regular annual promotion cycle, effective 1 January 2026.
Milijana Tomić has been promoted to Partner. She joined us through the k/andidates programme and has since grown within the Corporate team, becoming one of the emerging leaders of the Employment Practice Group. Known for her practical, solutions-oriented approach, Milijana is a trusted adviser to clients and a valued member of the team.
Our colleague Ana Kashirska Ilievska has also been promoted to Partner. A key figure in the local team for nearly a decade, Ana has played an important role in its development and is the go-to lawyer for many prominent clients, particularly in CHC-related work. She also has a well-recognised presence on the Macedonian market and was recently appointed Vice Chair of AmCham’s ESG Committee, further reflecting her standing in the profession.
Our colleague Gregor Zemljarič from Ketler & Partners, member of Karanovic, has been promoted to Senior Counsel. Gregor advises clients across a broad range of matters, from complex legal drafting to litigation. His strong technical expertise, paired with a deep understanding of business realities, makes him a trusted adviser in demanding matters.
