On 10 October, Karanović & Partners took part in a business breakfast organised by Chapter Zero Slovenia, held at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Belgrade. The event brought together business leaders, board members, and sustainability experts to discuss the role of governance in driving the green transition across Southeast Europe.
Our Partner Petar Mitrović moderated Panel 2: “Green Energy & Climate Leadership in the Region”, which explored how companies are integrating climate considerations into strategic and operational decision-making. The panel featured Branko Čevriz, Loan and Investment Officer at the European Investment Bank, Miloš Kostić, Owner and General Manager of MT Komex, Duško Krsmanović, Country Head at UK Export Finance for CEE & Balkan, and Kristina Subotić, ESG Manager at PwC Serbia. The discussion featured insights from regional experts and industry representatives on translating ESG commitments into measurable impact and long-term value creation.
The event also included a leaders’ discussion on geopolitical and regulatory aspects of climate governance and an opening panel on board-level challenges in the Adriatic region.
