Karanović & Partners, together with Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, held on 14 December 2021 our traditional annual Competition Conference, online for the second time. Attendees from different parts of the world joined our Zoom session in order to learn about the latest developments in the field of competition law.
We traditionally presented the newest edition of our annual publication Focus on Competition, that will be available in an electronic format. The publication features the latest updates and developments from the local, regional and the EU practice of the competition law, as well as articles from various eminent experts from legal and economic field. Our collage of articles includes different topics such as recent legislative changes in Croatia and Serbia, compelling local practices in North Macedonia, Slovenia and Albania, guest articles examining impact of competition law on environment, scholar’s view on criminal liability in competition law, overview of regional FDI regimes and many other useful and interesting topics.
The Competition Conference was opened and moderated by Partner Bojan Vučković, while the panelists were all authors of the 15th edition of “Focus on Competition” publication: Živa Nučič, Senior Associate at Ketler & Partners, member of Karanovic, Nika Jurković, Senior Associate at Ilej & Partners, in cooperation with Karanovic & Partners, Sirius Tartari and Tea Take, Associates at CR Partners, and the Competition team from Karanovic & Partners – Bojana Miljanović Hussey, Partner, Jelena Obradović, Senior Associate, and Associates Marija Stojanović, Nihad Odobašić, Božidar Milošević, Stefan Savić and Mladen Vujić.
