Karanovic & Partners advised Regent, a private equity firm managing business across technology, consumer, media and industrial sectors worldwide, on its acquisition of ContiTech’s Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) business unit. The transaction was completed on 2 February 2026.
We worked in cooperation with the Taylor Wessing team, who acted as lead counsel. Our team delivered comprehensive local transaction and competition law support, contributing to the successful completion of one of the most significant automotive sector transactions of the year.

The OESL business unit employs more than 16,000 people worldwide and generated approximately EUR 1.7 billion in revenue in 2025. The business develops and manufactures hose lines and bearing elements for both combustion engine and electric vehicles.
