Karanovic & Partners Advises the IFC on Financing of Porto Montenegro

Karanovic & Partners is pleased to have advised the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, on a EUR 80 million financing transaction supporting the investment programme of Porto Montenegro in Tivat, Montenegro.

The funds will support Porto Montenegro’s ongoing investments across its portfolio, including Adriatic 42. The project is expected to contribute to sustainable economic development, job creation, environmental improvements, and the mobilisation of private investment in Montenegro, while generating new business opportunities and strengthening local supplier capacity, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises. It will also support the long-term growth of the country’s tourism and maritime sectors.

Our work included advising IFC on the structuring and implementation of the transaction.”
