On 25 April, a round table entitled “Competition Law in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Legal and Institutional Aspect” was held in Sarajevo, and Karanovic & Partners partnered up with the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo, to organise it.
Our Senior Associate Nihad Odobašić participated in the event, along with Dr. Samir Sabljica, Head of the Department for Market Supervision, Consumer Protection, and Competition MTEO, Dr. Amir Karalić, member of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vesna Trifunović, Judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milica Pranjić, Legal Advisor of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Zlatan Balta, attorney at law.
The round table was attended by representatives of the legal community, business entities, and students at the Faculty of Law. The current state and effectiveness of the application of competition law in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the possible directions of reform of the existing competition protection mechanism in the country were discussed.
