Key Highlights from VIAC CAN Congress 2026

Our colleague Minu Anamaria Gvardjančič, Partner from Ketler & Partners, member of Karanović, participated in the Fourth VIAC CAN Congress: Cultivating Ideas Into Impact, held on 13 February in Vienna.

As part of the Congress programme, Minu was one of the speakers at the ArbitralWomen & ArbCEE Breakfast Discussion titled “Beyond the Case File: How Arbitration Practitioners Attract and Retain Clients.” The session focused on the role of arbitration practitioners in building lasting client relationships and adapting to shifting market expectations.

The discussion also featured Zrinka Mustafa Prelić (Law Office Zrinka Mustafa Prelić, Zagreb). The session was moderated by Veronika Korom (ESSEC Business School, Paris / PARAGON, Vienna), Sarolta Édua Szabó (Oppenheim Law Firm, Budapest), and Lucia Rajmanová (A&O Shearman, Bratislava), with opening remarks delivered by Niamh Leinwather, Secretary General of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC).

The Congress brought together leading arbitration professionals and VIAC Community Ambassadors to exchange insights on the latest developments in international arbitration.

We thank the Vienna International Arbitral Centre CAN team and all contributors for another engaging congress. We look forward to continuing the dialogue and to future editions of this event.
