Karanovic & Partners advised long-standing client MidEuropa on the completed sale of Imlek, a leading dairy producer in Southeast Europe, to AJFH and Bojan Radun.
The family holding of entrepreneur and investor Andrej Jovanović (AJFH), as the lead investor, together with the experienced manager and current CEO of Imlek, Bojan Radun, has completed the joint acquisition of Imlek from MidEuropa. Imlek operates in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Croatia, and has deep roots in dairy production and distribution across the region.
Working closely with the White & Case team, our multidisciplinary team provided full-service legal support throughout the transaction, including cross-border transaction structuring, financing and competition matters. Our M&A team was led by Senior Partner Miloš Jakovljević and Associate Teodora Vasin. The competition and due diligence teams were led by Senior Partner Rastko Petaković, and the financing team by Partner Katarina Gudurić and Senior Associate Marija Vićić Simić.
