The Foreign Investors Council (FIC) held the “FIC Insight into The Digital Workplace: Law, Technology & People” event on 27 October at the EU House in Belgrade. The event was organised jointly by the FIC HR Committee and the FIC Legal Committee.
Our Senior Partner, Milena Jakšić Papac, and Partner Sava Drača moderated the discussion, in their capacity as President of the FIC HR Committee and President of the FIC Legal Committee, respectively. They shared the floor with Mihailo Jovanović from the Office for IT and eGovernment and Zoran Martinović from the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs.
The discussion examined how technology is transforming the workplace and how regulation can keep pace with these changes, with a focus on legal certainty. The topics included lessons from the eBolovanje system, digital-by-design public services, the use of artificial intelligence in the workplace and the role of electronic communication in employment relations.
