Karanovic & Partners is pleased to announce that our Partner Sava Drača has been selected as President of the Foreign Investors Council Legal Committee.
Sava Drača is a Partner in the Corporate & Commercial Practice Group. He advises on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, and specialises in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings.
The FIC Legal Committee is one of the most active cross-sectoral committees within the Foreign Investors Council, dedicated to advocating for improvements to Serbia’s overall legal framework. With over 60 members, the Committee closely monitors the work of Serbian authorities and generates proposals for regulatory reform, including through roundtables with key stakeholders. Its current priorities include multisectoral cooperation on AI and digitalisation, ESG compliance, harmonisation with EU directives on foreign direct investment, and bankruptcy reform.
We congratulate Sava on this appointment and look forward to his contribution to improving Serbia’s legal environment.
