Our colleagues from CR Partners in cooperation with Karanovic & Partners, advised Banka Kombëtare Tregtare SHA, as issuer, on the EUR 150 million senior unsecured Eurobond offering, marking the first international senior unsecured bond issued by a private corporate issuer in Albania. The team was led by our Partner Anisa Rrumbullaku and Senior Associate Adi Brovina. International counsel to the bank was Latham & Watkins LLP (UK).
The issuance represents a landmark milestone for Albania’s capital markets, establishing a new precedent for private sector access to international debt markets in the country.
