Ketler & Partners, member of Karanovic, acted as legal counsel to ARX Equity Partners in connection with ARX’s acquisition of a majority stake in Medicofit, a leading Slovenian physiotherapy clinic.
Medicofit was founded five years ago in Ljubljana and focuses on evidence-based rehabilitation and musculoskeletal care. Following the transaction, ARX holds a majority stake in the company, while co-founder Jaka Plantan continues as CEO and Marko Stojanovič as Chief Physiotherapist. Both founders remain minority shareholders.
ARX and the existing management team have announced plans to expand Medicofit’s operations beyond Ljubljana to build a regional platform in the musculoskeletal care segment. The expansion is expected to include new clinical specialisations, with women’s health physiotherapy and neurophysiotherapy identified as initial focus areas.
The team advising ARX on the transaction included Senior Partner Marko Ketler and Senior Associate Nina Krajnc Anžlovar.
