Our Partner Andrej Jelenković, together with our colleagues, Senior Associate Petra Marjanović from Ilej & Partners in cooperation with Karanovic & Partners, and Senior Associate Marko Kranjec, from Ketler & Partners, member of Karanovic, attended the 7th Adriatic Maritime Law Conference (AMLC). The event, which was held in Izola, Slovenia, from 9 to 11 April, is one of the leading professional events in the field of maritime law in the Adriatic region. It brought together port and state authorities, maritime law professors, and practitioners from across the Adriatic region.
As part of the conference program, Andrej and Petra participated in a panel on yacht marinas in the Adriatic, where they presented a case study covering key maritime law topics, including vessel collision claims, arrest procedures, and the limitation of a shipowner’s liability.
The next Adriatic Maritime Law Conference will be held in Montenegro in 2028, organised by the Montenegrin Maritime Law Association. We are pleased to have contributed to this regional dialogue and look forward to continuing our engagement with colleagues and partners across the Adriatic maritime community.
Partner refers to independent Attorney at Law in cooperation with Karanovic & Partners.
