Pluralis Invests in Telegram Media Grupa

Media Development Investment Fund, a New York-registered fund specialized in investment in independent European media, via its Amsterdam-based affiliate Pluralis B.V., has finalised its acquisition of a minority stake in Croatian digital media publisher – Telegram Media Grupa d.o.o. This investment is supposed to enable Telegram to further grow its digital advertising and subscription business models, as well as diversify its income through the expansion of content and the launch of new formats, brands, and products.

Pluralis B.V. is a limited liability company, whose investors and partners are prestigious European media companies, foundations, and investors. Pluralis is managed by Media Development Investment Fund, an investment fund focused on supporting a plurality of news across Europe by investing in independent media.

Telegram Media Grupa d.o.o. is the publisher of the Croatian Telegram news portal, with associated media brands including Telesport, Super1, Pitanje Zdravlja, and Openspace, with more than 1.3 million unique users per month.
