Karanovic & Partners at HR Week 2020

Karanovic & Partners took part at HR Week 2020. Ivana Karanović, a Vice Chair of AmCham HR Forum, moderated a panel “HR World for Tomorrow: Leading the Changes”, while one of the panelists was also our head of Employment practice group Milena Jakšić Papac, joined by  other representatives of AmCham member companies Dragana Koruga Ristić (CocaCola HBC), Aleksandra Dutina (Carlsberg Serbia) and Marija Gligorević  (BDK advokati).

Focus of the panel were proposals for the changes of the labor legal framework to meet the strategic needs of both employers and their needs in light of the changes to the social and work process caused by the pandemics. The panelists covered topics such as remote work, administrative procedures that burden employers, recruitment of new talents, internships and employment of young people without working experience, as well as the limitations of the regulatory framework in the field of labor and employment, and many more.

HR Week is the largest HR event in the region, organized by HR World. The conference brings together professionals in the field of human resources, and is dedicated to relevant and current topics in the field of HR. The theme of this year’s event is HR DNA: Identity Crisis. The panel was supported by AmCham Serbia, leading international business hub composed of 200+ companies united by a will to improve the Serbian business environment and be part of the influential community.
