Our Senior Associate and Head of Intellectual Property, Nikola Kliska, participated as a moderator at the Internet Dialogue 2026 conference, held on 3 and 4 June 2026 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia in Belgrade.
Organised by the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, Association for Law and Technology, and the RNIDS Foundation, Internet Dialogue is an annual conference bringing together legal academics, practitioners, and policymakers to address emerging issues in internet and digital law.
Nikola moderated the opening panel of the first day, titled “Obligations of Digital Platforms,” which featured presentations by leading academics from Serbian and regional law faculties: Sanja Savčić, Full Professor from the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law, along with Jelena Lepetić, Associate Professor; Novak Vujičić, Assistant Professor; and Maša Mišković, Assistant Professor, from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law.
The panel examined a range of topics including the contractual liability of digital platforms, the regulatory treatment of startups under platform-specific legislation, website blocking mechanisms in the context of intellectual property infringement, and platform operator liability in e-commerce transactions.
We thank the organisers for the invitation and look forward to continued engagement with the legal community on these topics.
