wienerberger signed an agreement to acquire Univerzum Group, the leading producer of clay blocks in Serbia. The transaction remains subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities and the satisfaction of other customary conditions.
Univerzum Group employs around 200 people across two production sites and is expected to generate approximately €20 million in revenue in 2026, with highly attractive margins.
wienberger is a leading European manufacturer of roof tiles, bricks, and plastic pipes with approximately EUR 4.5 billion in revenue generated in 2025 across 200 production sites.
